moules Les Jolies Marrakech

Les Jolies moules you have left for a while and flew to Morocco .. you are granted a few days of travel to ports in the south of the Sahara desert and then are placed for three days in Marrakech.
In this case we have avoided bringing our table as we did in Berlin (!) ... we will never have been able to compete with skilled craftsmen and vendors of Medina, we are dedicated to the discovery of this beautiful city, its colors, its smells, its magical mess!
moules Les Jolies in this post I want to share the shops recycled items that are in Marrakech and the inventiveness that the Moroccans in the reuse of waste material.
A premise, however, is a duty, in fact, the attitude of Moroccans towards recycling is contradictory, on the one hand almost everywhere is the art of knowing how to arrange or re-use of better materials to make everyday objects but on the other hand there is much rubbish around and make little sense environmentalist.
After three wonderful hours in the dunes by camel for us mussels was a shock to see the colored dots in the distance and find out later that they were not flowers but thousands of plastic bags ... Mhamid we were approaching, the last town before the Sahara, from where many hikers and tourists to explore the desert ...
Just as during the crossing of ' High Atlas to Ouarzazate to Marrakech (5 hours by bus) through stunning mountain valleys, we noticed several bags of garbage, plastic bottles, plastic bags fluttering. .. a stark contrast with the beauty of the place.
Hopefully in the next few years measures are taken to the local people and especially to those tourists who do not know how to respect the beautiful land that hosts them!
But now back in the Medina of Marrakech!
moules Les Jolies want to tell you some shops where artisans have chosen to manufacture and sell items made with recycled materials.
The Medina is the old city inside the walls and a maze where the streets are not marked so it's hard to give you the 'Safe!

Towards the end of Rue Riad el Zitoun - Kedima (the name that you will never find mentioned in the same way!), Long and narrow road that leads from the famous Jemaa El Fna to the Jewish Quarter Mellah (guides, follow the signs to the ruins of El Badi Palace) there are some shops that sell large containers made from old tires for trucks, bags plasticone made awnings and frames made of tin cans of tuna / sardines!
If you want the same objects but in a fashion, clean and not noisy (and obviously with a different price!) Then you must go in the store 33 stilosissimo RueMAJORELLE in the ville nouvelle (modern district outside the walls) in rue Yves Saint Lauret, opposite the beautiful jardin Majorelle, the legendary Yves has given his death to city \u200b\u200bof Marrakech.
Other businesses stilosetto is Kif-Kif in Medina, recommended by Lonely Planet, for our tastes a little too touristy and Carette the prices that are out there ... but worth seeing !

moules Les Jolies want to share with you some images of everyday life in Medina, where you can create with just a game, a door and who knows what else!
E 'was great to see how waste materials can find another use for a second life .. .. one second chance ... and it must be said not just for fashion but inventive and perhaps out of necessity.
So here's to you a set for the game of checkers made from a piece of plywood with hand-colored pawns in the shape of ... plastic cap of Coca-Cola for the red and blue for water, a door made with milk from the cans of oil, and a handy cover bee done with the sheets of the billboards!

moules Les Jolies also found some material, waste, of course (!) For their next creations spring / summer 2011 that ... we can not wait to introduce you!
A 'la prochaine and a thought to the beautiful Moroccan land!
