Finter Bank Zurich date from a financial institution created in 1958 in Chiasso, Switzerland, as the Westbank. The founders were entrepreneurs Venezuelans of Italian descent. At that time Chiasso was not yet a major banking center and the owners of the West Bank decided to move its headquarters in Zurich, in what would become the financial heart of Switzerland.
